For the < Save the Water for the City of Dallas>, we also have several students who achieved a very high place. This completion receives entries from 1st to 5th grade and 6th to 8th grade, and artworks are judged for artistic talent and knowledge of water conservation issues.
Kelton Chen (3rd grade) has been selected as the Grand Prize Winner of 2017 Drinking Water Week, and he received Galaxy Tablet, a plaque, and a participation certificate.
Angelina Wu (8th grade) has also been selected as the Grand Prize Winner for 2017 Middle School T-Shirt Art Competition, and her design will be made into actual T-Shirts and be distributed.
Taylor Davis (2nd Grade) was picked as the 2nd Grade Winner, and Jasmine Cai (3rd grade) was chosen as the 3rd Grade Winner.
All of the students will also receive an invitation to an award recognition reception which will be held at Dallas City Hall on Friday, May 12th, 2017 (The awards presentation will take place at Dallas City Hall 1500 Marilla). In addition, the Grand Prize winning poster will be reproduced and distributed as the official City of Dallas Drinking Water Week poster, will be displayed at schools and public buildings throughout the city, and also will be displayed on Dart buses throughout the City of Dallas for thirty days during the month of May.
